tools for the people who have to make the joint work.

Free, browser-based utilities our engineers built for setting up, auditing, and troubleshooting tightening equipment. Nothing to install and no account to create — each one runs entirely in your browser, so the files you open stay on your own machine.

the utilities

Torque Converter

Convert a torque value between the units you actually run into on the floor — newton-metres, foot-pounds, inch-pounds, and kilogram-force. Enter the number once and read it in every unit at the same time.

For anyone working from a print in one unit and a tool set in another: quoting a spec, programming a controller, or checking a reading against an audit wrench.

QB Trace Viewer

Plots the torque and angle trace from a Stanley QB Series controller export, so you see the whole tightening instead of just the final number — rundown, seating, the elastic ramp, and exactly where the tool shut off.

For technicians and process engineers diagnosing a joint. Cross-threads, prevailing torque, overshoot, and soft-joint behavior all show up in the shape of the curve long before they show up as a failed part.

Rundown Viewer

Charts a batch of completed rundowns — one point per fastening — so an entire shift or an entire job lands on a single plot with your limits drawn in.

For quality and process engineers reviewing capability and scatter. Drift, outliers, and the fastenings creeping toward a limit are visible while there is still time to act on them.

how to use them

Export, drop, read. Each utility opens as a single page. Export the data from your controller the way you normally would, drop the file onto the viewer, and the chart builds in the browser. Nothing is uploaded to us and nothing is stored — close the tab and the data is gone. If you want the background behind what the charts are showing you, start with Learning.

need something these don't cover?

These utilities answer the questions we get asked most. If you are working on something they don't reach — a joint that won't behave, a controller that won't report what you need, or a data problem specific to your line — that is the work our engineers do every day.
